Policy of the journal on open access to scientific publications
Editorial Board of the scientific publication «Bulletin of Mariupol State University. Series: History. Political Studies» supports the policy of open access to scientific publications, adhering to the principles of free distribution of scientific information and global exchange of knowledge for the general social progress.
This means that the method of access to the content of the publication as a whole and to its individual articles is free, the subscription or paymanet to view individual publications are not needed.
The accepted article is placed in the public domain after publication, while the copyright is retained by the authors. By “open access” we mean free access to scientific information via the Internet, and the right of every user to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search or make reference to full-text articles by the authors of our publication.
The only limitation on reproduction and distribution and the only condition of copyright in this area is the obligatory reference to the name of the author of the article and the title of our journal when using scientific work and quoting it.
Policy of the journal on electronic backup (archive access)
The full texts of the works are stored on the official website of the scientific publication «Bulletin of Mariupol State University. Series: History. Political Studies» in the relevant sections on an indefinite basis, which meets the standards of digital data storage. All content is freely available, free to an indefinite number of people.

Journal Retraction Policy
The purpose of backup is to prevent the loss of information in case of hardware, software, critical and crisis situations, etc.
The following main categories of information are subject to backup:
- PDF of published articles;
- information about references to the article in the DOI system.
